A Special Request from the Race Timer
Timing a race can be pretty stressful. Most runners expect the race results to be accurate, especially those who have trained hard for a first attempt at the distance or veterans who strive for a new personal best. Race organizers want the results to be not only accurate, but to be delivered as quickly as possible after the race so the awards can be distributed and clean-up can begin.
You can help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of results reporting by observing a few basic rules of race etiquette:
These small points can make a big difference. By observing these rules of etiquette you can help ensure each runner is credited with his or her actual time, and that the awards ceremony can begin on time. Please help us timers do the best job we can for you.

Unless instructed to do otherwise, please make sure your bib is pinned on the front of your shirt, not the back; |

If you are not registered, please don't enter the finish line chute; |

If you are registered and already finished, please don't enter the finish line chute a second time; and |
■ |
Never pass someone in the chute after you've crossed the finish line. |
